The objective of this project was to create a zine of a person or movement that was forgotten in the world of design. We did extensive research on our topic and was inspired to go with Anna Russel Jones. Anna was an underappreciated black woman in the design world, who created design work such as rugs, paintings, blueprints, posters, booklets, and advertisements. Anna’s work was so beautiful and inspiring to me that I knew I had to cover her story. This zine covers her life story, as well as the work she created throughout her career.
