The objective of this project is to conceive, design, format and illustrate an infographic poster. We had to research our topic extensively, choosing a topic that is a natural or man-made disaster. After that, we explored design opportunities and information graphic styles to communicate the data. We developed charts, a color system, graphs and icons to aid in the understanding of the content and create visual appeal. The restrictions of this project was that we could only use three pantone colors. I chose human-trafficking, as this is a big issue in the United States. I wanted to bring awareness to the dangers of human-trafficking, as well as resources for those who are struggling. I wanted to make this poster eye catching, as well as simple yet easy to understand.
